Harinder Kohli is the Founding Director and Chief Executive of Emerging Markets Forum as well as the Founding Director, President, CEO, and largest shareholder of Centennial Group International, both based in Washington, DC. He has authored and co-authored fifteen books, including Envisioning 2060: Opportunities and Risks for Emerging Markets and China’s Belt and Road Initiative: Potential Transformation of Central Asia and the South Caucasus.

Rajat Nag is a Distinguished Fellow both at India’s National Council of Applied Economic Research, Delhi and at the Emerging Markets Forum in Washington, DC, and is serving as an Advisor and Board Member for several organizations. He served as the Managing Director General of the Asian Development Bank from 2006-13. Nag was also an editor of the book Envisioning 2060: Opportunities and Risks for Emerging Markets.

Ieva Vilkelyte is a Senior Research Associate at Centennial Group International and the Emerging Markets Forum. During her time at Centennial Group and EMF, she has collabourated on projects for the African Development Bank, the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, and CAF, among others. She also worked on The World in 2050: Striving for a Just, Prosperous, and Harmonious Global Community (2016), Kazakhstan 2050: Toward a Modern Society for All (2014) and Africa 2050: Realizing the Continents Full Potential (2014). She graduated from Georgetown University in 2013, where she majored in economics.
Introduction:

Envisioning 2060 is a collection of articles by some of the world's greatest economists and authors. Its carefully planned chapters encompass all major aspects of the evolving global economy-with a particular emphasis on emerging markets and economies-painting a wholesome picture for the contemporary reader, of what our world might grow to look like in the next forty years if we succeed or fail at addressing the myriad challenges confronting us today.
