The path ahead is built on global policy coordination rooted in neo-pragmatism, and addressing global challenges requires leadership capabilities and experience that span from the local to the national, and from the regional to the global level. At a time when liberalization and integration of global markets and economies are irreversible, and in the face of crises and turbulences brought about by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, repositioning leadership for the coordination of global affairs has become particularly crucial. This course invites former government officials from multiple countries to participate in its design and teaching. These former political leaders will share their experiences in exploring globalization and economic development strategies with students, helping students gain insights into the concepts and practices of leadership across different cultural, social, economic, and political contexts. Through interactive seminars and group research presentations, students will develop a profound understanding of the leadership characteristics required for building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.
