The Belt and Road School meticulously designs a series of courses. It invites professors and experts from internationally renowned universities, former government officials from multiple countries, leaders in the international financial sector, and senior executives of global enterprises to provide students with a unique and comprehensive perspective on observing China and exploring global emerging markets. This initiative aims to foster students' broad cross-cultural understanding and global leadership, helping them keep pace with the times in the context of globalization.

To better achieve the goal of talent development, the annual curriculum may undergo slight adjustments. Below is an introduction to some of the high-quality courses offered over the years.

Belt and Road Leadership
Course Description

The path ahead is built on global policy coordination rooted in neo-pragmatism, and addressing global challenges requires leadership capabilities and experience that span from the local to the national, and from the regional to the global level. At a time when liberalization and integration of global markets and economies are irreversible, and in the face of crises and turbulences brought about by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, repositioning leadership for the coordination of global affairs has become particularly crucial. This course invites former government officials from multiple countries to participate in its design and teaching. These former political leaders will share their experiences in exploring globalization and economic development strategies with students, helping students gain insights into the concepts and practices of leadership across different cultural, social, economic, and political contexts. Through interactive seminars and group research presentations, students will develop a profound understanding of the leadership characteristics required for building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.

This course aims to align with China's realities and provide a foundational framework of knowledge and skills. It introduces students to the theories and practical aspects of China's economy and business landscape, serving as a link between theory and practice for the MBA program.

Based on the practices and experiences of doing business in China, the course incorporates face-to-face conversations with entrepreneurs as a form of guidance and practical learning. This helps students gain a better understanding of China's economic and business models, as well as identify and address challenges in managing and leading employees at the individual, team, and organizational levels.

The course delivers basic knowledge, skills, and insights in specific areas, including frameworks for diagnosing and analyzing organizational issues, and an understanding of human resources, political, and symbolic frameworks. Through multiple field visits, students will enhance their awareness of current realities, develop reasonable future outlooks, and thereby formulate action plans for growth and development.
