Overall Review

I highly recommend Emerging Market Institute_ Beijing Normal University International Masters of Business Program for all international students who are looking forward to practical knowledge and experience on International Business and Management. At EMI students should expect to create an international network and experience learning and collaborating with students from emerging economies around the world. The courses were delivered by highly experienced professors and leaders from all around the world. The program includes Field Trips that offers opportunity to meet with both Government Leaders and Private Company’s management in China. In the field Trip we had an opportunity to learn how policies are implement on the ground and what have been the results in China.

 

IMBA Program

The IMBA Program offered by EMI is structured in such a way that it offers students an opportunity to understand not only the theories but also the practicability of such theories. The whole course was delivered by highly respected professors from China and from high ranked Universities in the world which gave us a unique opportunity to understand how policies are designed and applied to bring economic development in different countries.

 

Course and Lecturers

The courses were delivered by both University Professor and different leaders who had make remarkable achievements in the globe. The lecturers were of more practical experience and this made the whole IMBA course easy to understand and enjoy learning. Everything covered during the course was a take away for emerging economies both in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

 

Field Trip

The most beautiful part for the IMBA program was the field Trip, the field trip gave us an insight of how China has developed its economy tremendously within 40 years of reforms and opening up. We had chance to examine policies and theories covered in class and see how these policies have been applied in China and brings the social economic transformation of Chinese Society and Economy in general.

 

Belt and Road Lecture Series

Before I came to China, I knew very little about belt and road initiative, I had a mixed kind of feeling about this initiative as I kept hearing about it from China and America. The BRI Lecture series brought me a well understand of this initiate. The most impor tant par t of it was the fact that most of these lecture series were delivered by highly respected leaders outside China, i.e. From Europe, East Asia, Japan etc. The BRI Lecturer series brings the correct insight about the BRI as the initiative to get the whole world connected for the shared prosperity of all mankind. The initiative brings roads, power, railway and all kinds of infrastructure that are fundamental for economic development in developing economies. This is rather different from what has been por trayed from western media as increasing of Chinese influence in the world. With the BRI Lecture Series I was able to fully understand what is BRI and its importance to all mankind.

 

Conclusion

With beautiful Scenes of BNU main Campus and humble EMI Stuff I felt honored to undertake my IMBA Program at EMI_ BNU. Studying at BNU changed the whole of my career and I really got more than what I expected from this Program. Our Professors did not only teach us how theories work but inspired us both by sharing their life and leadership experience as well as brings to us world famous leaders from Japan, East Asia, Europe etc. who also shared their experience with us. We also had chance to visit big companies’ factories like Car Manufacturing a and Garments manufacturing, and we had chance to interact with these companys management. This gave me an experience that has inspired me to bring more changes in my ommunity.
